Hangzhou, Xinhua News Agency, May 25 (Reporter Wei Donghua)—The Central and Eastern European Expo witnessed the attendance of 17,000 domestic and international professional buyers. Import purchase orders secured during the exhibition exceeded RMB 10 billion. Meanwhile, 24 investment projects in New Quality Productive Forces such as artificial intelligence (AI) and high-end equipment manufacturing were signed. Additionally, over 250,000 domestic and international visitors participated in the cultural exchange activities, making it a highly engaging event…The Fourth China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair concluded in Ningbo, Zhejiang, on May 25. This Expo showcased the substantial achievements in economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchange between China and CEECs.

According to reports, this year's Expo expanded its economic and trade "circle of friends," drawing a wider range of participating countries. The Expo brought together enterprises from 14 CEECs along with 120 other countries and regions worldwide. Spanning an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, the event hosted nearly 1,500 exhibitors and over 17,000 professional buyers, including approximately 4,000 international professional buyers. The scale of participation marked a record high in the event's history. The newly established "Digital Intelligence CEE" exhibition area showcased advancements in AI and robotics, bringing together 37 leading enterprises. Highlighted were innovative technologies from CEE, such as Hungarian VR systems, Slovak flight simulators, and Slovenia's cutting-edge bat planes.   

During the Expo, over 80 events, including procurement signings and trade promotion activities, were held to enhance economic and trade cooperation. Import purchase orders amounted to a notable RMB 10.98 billion. Remarkable achievements were made in investment cooperation, with 24 projects signed. These projects span strategic fields such as AI, high-end equipment manufacturing, and biomedicine, highlighting dimensions of New Quality Productive Forces.   

Efforts to deepen and expand institutional cooperation yielded results, as multi-sectoral collaboration mechanisms were further refined and improved. Notably, at the Dialogue on Customs, Inspection and Quarantine Cooperation, agreements were reached with Bulgaria and Croatia on the access of agricultural and food products, alongside the establishment of a transnational information-sharing mechanism. The Liaison Office of APACCCEEC was officially established in Ningbo, strengthening diversified channels to support the entry of CEE products into the Chinese market.
