The Number of China-Europe Railway Express Trains Crossing the Border through Erenhot Railway Port Exceeds 2,000 this Year

 

 

According to reports from China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Co., Ltd., on the morning of July 29, a China-Europe Railway Express train loaded with 55 forty-foot containers departed from Erenhot Railway Port. This marks the milestone of over 2,000 China-Europe Railway Express trains entering and exiting Erenhot Railway Port this year, 21 days earlier than in the previous year.

To ensure the efficient operation of the China-Europe Railway Express, Erenhot Railway Port is continuously optimizing the coordination mechanisms for domestic and international operations. The Port has established a "green channel" for the China-Europe Railway Express trains in collaboration with customs and other departments. Additionally, it is promoting "one-window" services and "24/7" appointment customs clearance, while accurately formulating the operation plans for the China-Europe Railway Express. These measures effectively enhance the overall customs clearance efficiency and convenience for the trains.

Currently, there are 71 routes for the China-Europe Railway Express trains crossing the border through Erenhot Railway Port. The types of goods transported include light textile products, daily necessities, electronic appliances, machine parts, and domestically produced automobiles, among others.
