At 17:30 on October 22, a China-Europe railway express consisting of 55 carriages fully loaded with daily necessities, maternal and infant products, electrical accessories and other goods departed from Khorgos Railway Port under the supervision of Khorgos Customs affiliated to Urumqi Customs and headed for Malaszewicze, Poland. At present, the cumulative number of China-Europe (Central Asia) railway expresses passing through the Khorgos Railway Port has exceeded 40,000.

Since the beginning of this year, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) railway expresses passing through Khorgos Railway Port has continued to grow. The average number of China-Europe railway expresses per day has remained above 22, and one China-Europe railway express completes its customs transfer for return trips every 2 hours on average. More and more "Made in China" products such as daily necessities, M&E equipment, electronic products, agricultural and sideline products have chosen to enter the Central Asian and European markets from Khorgos Railway Port. At present, there are 85 China-Europe (Central Asia) railway express routes passing through Khorgos Railway Port, radiating 18 countries and 46 cities and regions overseas, which has become the "golden channel" for international logistics land transportation.

In order to further improve the quality and efficiency of China-Europe (Central Asia) railway expresses, Khorgos Customs has refined its measures, closely connected with the whole process of supervision on China-Europe (Central Asia) railway expresses, incorporated customs supervision requirements into station operation processes, and actively carried out forward operations. As a result, trains can stop at one time, customs and border inspection departments can complete inspection and release in the same area at the same time, saving 30 minutes for single train inspection and release.

Khorgos Customs has given full play to its advantages in information technology, further promoted the consolidation of railway manifests and the "railway fast clearance" mode, set up a special service window for China-Europe (Central Asia) railway expresses, and provided 24/7 customs clearance services. At the same time, it has strengthened cooperation with the railway sector to efficiently connect loading and unloading, transportation and other steps, optimize the transport organization mode, and continuously improve the traffic efficiency of China-Europe railway expresses at the port. Khorgos Railway Station has carried out accurate dispatching and command, strengthened operation plan management, optimized the distribution of operation processes, coordinated all operations such as train arrival and departure, continuously improved the preparation quality and fulfillment rate of port delivery-receiving plans, and further released the transport efficiency at the port.

After the implementation of the 'railway fast clearance' mode, trains can be released directly after arriving at the port, which is more convenient than the previous customs transit mode.
