People’s Daily - Ningbo Customs is actively facilitating high-quality economic and trade cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs). By leveraging three specialized platforms for information and policy exchange, trade facilitation and inquiry service, as well as trade monitoring and alert, the Customs authority has launched two online service scenarios, namely the “the One-stop Service for Imports from CEEC” and the “Access Information of Agri-Food Products Exported to China from CEECs”. Together, these initiatives have given rise to a mature, one-stop framework for regional Customs cooperation. Building on this momentum, Ningbo Customs has further established the China-CEEC Information Sharing and Liaison Mechanism, a dedicated platform for Customs inspection and quarantine cooperation, during the year, allowing for regular working-level dialogue with relevant institutions across CEEC member states.Currently, the annual container throughput between Ningbo-Zhoushan Port and CEECs exceeds one million TEUs, and this maritime trade is complemented by 12 direct shipping routes and three passenger-cargo air routes linking the Port of Ningbo with the region.
