From May 22 to 25 this year, the 4th China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair will be held in Ningbo. This year marks the 13th anniversary of the establishment of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism. Centered around the theme "Embracing Innovation, Embracing Pragmatism, Embracing the Future", the Expo will serve as a multidimensional platform for cooperation and exchange among all participating parties.
According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, Zhejiang Province's total trade volume with CEEC surged from RMB 40.31 billion in 2012 to RMB 182.69 billion in 2024, representing an average annual growth rate of 11.6%.
In the first quarter of this year, total trade between Zhejiang and CEEC reached 46.84 billion yuan, reflecting a 15.7% year-on-year increase.
M&E products constitute the primary export commodities from Zhejiang to CEEC. Key export items include electrical equipment, household appliances, general-purpose machinery, and automotive parts.
Recently, Ningbo Asiaway Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Asiaway Auto") declared the export of a batch of auto parts valued at nearly RMB 16,000 to Ningbo Customs. Upon thorough verification and approval by Ningbo Customs, the goods were successfully released and subsequently shipped to Slovakia.
Asiaway Auto is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of automotive components. Wang Ping, the company's import and export director, stated,"In recent years, we have been conducting comprehensive research and development through continuous technological innovation in areas such as product design and testing. Leveraging exceptional product performance and robust quality assurance, we have successfully expanded our footprint in CEEC markets, including Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. In the first quarter of this year, our export orders to CEEC reached RMB 13.041 million, representing a 16% year-on-year increase.”
