The foreign-ship supply companies under state commercial system may undertake port-based supply for navigation ships, responsible for serving foreign ships and China’s national ships on international navigation at China’s ports. COSCO (China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company) has set up supply stations in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian, Lianyungang, Zhanjiang and Qinhuangdao to serve the national ships on international navigation within the system. No other organizations or individuals are permitted to undertake the supply service for international navigation ships.
