A delegation from Romania, led by Daniel Davidel, president of the Romanian-Chinese House, visited Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province on Oct 11 to promote friendship and collaboration between the two sides.
Representatives from both sides discussed ways to expand cooperation in culture, tourism, education, sports, and youth exchanges. Local entrepreneurs active in Romania were invited to participate, offering opportunities for on-site networking and promoting economic ties.
The delegation visited a local photovoltaic and baby product enterprise. At APsystems, a leading photovoltaic enterprise, they learned about the company's development, core technologies, and main products. Davidel showed a strong interest in its inverters and energy storage systems, noting that Romania faces high electricity costs and that photovoltaic solutions hold great potential in his country. He said he hoped to explore further opportunities for green energy cooperation with the company.
At Jiaxing Xiaohuzi Bike Factory, the delegation visited laboratories, production workshops, warehouses, product showrooms, and livestream sales rooms. They were impressed by an innovative foldable two-in-one stroller that transforms into a camping cart. Davidel praised the design's creativity and functionality.
The visit strengthened mutual understanding and friendship between Jiaxing and Suceava, laying a solid foundation for deeper future cooperation across multiple sectors.
