The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. According to the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Ningbo delegation, a dedicated procurement cohort for the Expo, has registered more than 2,000 organizations and over 7,000 procurement professionals for the event.

At this year's Expo, the Ningbo delegation plans to source products across a wide range of sectors, including service trade, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical devices and healthcare products, as well as food and agricultural products.

During the CIIE, Ningbo will host five supporting events, including the "Hundred Exhibitions, Thousand Enterprises" market expansion campaign, a matchmaking forum designed to help local companies connect with international markets. These initiatives aim to fully leverage the itsquadruple role as a key platform to boost import volumes, foster new hubs of consumer spending, and attract more business investment.

As a regular participant with a perfect attendance record, the Ningbo-based CEEC Products Permanent Pavilion is making another group appearance, presenting 65 brands within a dedicated CEEC section.

This year's showcase extends beyond perennial favorites like Bulgarian rose-infused skincare and Slovak grape juice, introducing a selection of new highlights. These include Polish hand-painted ceramics, Albanian natural herbal essential oils, and Romanian sunflower oil. Notably, a Hungarian chocolatier will set up live chocolate-making stations, offering visitors hands-on DIY experiences.

The 8th CIIE is set to host 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, featuring 4,108 overseas exhibitors, including 290 Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading enterprises. With a total exhibition area exceeding 430,000 square meters, the event continues to break its own records in scale.
