A batch of potato starch weighing 2,000 kg has recently cleared Customs under the supervision of Tianshui Customs, a subsidiary of Lanzhou Customs, and is set to be shipped to Albania. This milestone marks the first entry of Tianshui-produced potato starch into the Albanian market.
"Following successful market entries into Russia, Italy, and other countries, this represents another significant breakthrough for our products in Europe," said Wang Xudong, Foreign Trade Manager at Gansu Fengshou Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. "The entire processfrom sending samples and aligning standards to securing the order, was completed in just three months." Wang emphasized that the successful export was made possible by the end-to-end quality control support provided by Tianshui Customs.
Zhang Taiheng, Tianshui Customs Director, explained that to facilitate the successful export of this shipment, Tianshui Customs proactively analyzed Albania's import tariff policies and documentation requirements for Customs clearance, guiding the company through preparing all required materials, withthe Certificate of Origin and inspection and quarantine documents included. Through the "Scan to Handle" mini-program platform developed by Tianshui Customs, the company achieved one-stop processing for declaration, inspection, and certification, reducing overall clearance time by over 40 percent and securing valuable time for market entry.
From potato cultivation bases to finished products shipped overseas, Lanzhou Customs has established a comprehensive end-to-end supervision chain to support the global expansion of specialty agricultural products. Looking ahead, Lanzhou Customs will continue to monitor overseas market access policies and updated standards, further optimize support services for agricultural exports, and help more local specialties reach global markets, allowing the collaborative spirit of Silk Road agriculture to flourish worldwide.
