The 4th China-Central and Eastern European Countries Expo Opens Today

This newspaper (Reporter Sun Jiali) reports: Today, the 4th China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair (hereinafter referred to as the 4th China-CEEC Expo) opened in Ningbo. Yesterday morning, a press conference for the 4th China-CEEC Expo was held in Ningbo to provide an overview of the event.

More than 15,000 professional attendees are expected at this expo, including over 3,000 overseas buyers from 72 countries and regions. It is estimated that the import purchase intention for goods from CEEC will exceed RMB 10 billion.

The trade exhibition area spans 80,000 square meters, with dedicated sections for CEEC exhibits and export consumer products.

The CEEC exhibition section is located at the Ningbo International Conference Center by the shore of Dongqian Lake, covering an area of 20,000 square meters. A total of 435 companies from 14 Central and Eastern European countries, as well as 9 other countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain are participated in the exhibition, marking an expansion from CEEC to the "CEEC+" concept.

Among these, the "Surging Splendor" section primarily features image presentations of the guest country of honor, theme province, and Zhejiang Province; the "Digital and Intelligent CEEC" section centers on artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, highlighting cutting-edge technologies and innovative application scenarios; the "Charming CEEC" section illustrates the unique appeal of the diverse cultural and artistic heritage shared between China and CEEC through "books, art, painting, printing, and travel"; and the "Boutique CEEC" section showcases distinctive agricultural and sideline products, along with daily consumer goods from CEEC through immersive cooking theaters and live demonstrations of artisanal craftsmanship.

The export consumer goods exhibition area is located at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center in the Eastern New City, with a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. A total of 1,028 companies from across the country are participating in the exhibition. The space is divided into four sections: consumer premium goods, home furnishings, smart products, and green products, showcasing the signature industries and premium consumer goods of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities nationwide. Additionally, the "China Tour of Foreign Trade Quality Products" exhibition area has been established for the first time.

This expo takes economic and trade activities as its main focus, complemented by fields such as education, culture, and sports, and meticulously designs activities under the "11+4+N" framework.

"11" refers to 11 key activities within the framework of the expo, including the opening ceremony, 4 economic and trade matchmaking events, 3 investment promotion activities, and 3 cultural exchange programs; "4" denotes institutional activities held concurrently, such as the China-CEEC Joint Chamber of Commerce Ningbo Conference, the 7th China-CEEC Customs Inspection and Quarantine Cooperation Dialogue, the 2025 China-CEEC Mayors Forum, and the CEEC International Regatta; "N" signifies over 50 specialized matchmaking events, categorized by industry and region, which are described as "small but practical", "small but refined", and "small but distinctive", aiming to explore cooperation opportunities comprehensively and at multiple levels.

Currently, 7 dignitaries from 6 Central and Eastern European countries have confirmed their attendance, alongside 117 domestic delegations that have registered for the event.
