Ningbo Jiada Shoes Co., Ltd. ("Jiada Shoes") recently cleared a shipment of footwear products through Ningbo Customs for export to Poland after passing all inspections. Specializing in manufacturing and distributing footwear, garments, and textiles, the company primarily exports to European and American markets. From January to April this year, its exports to CEECs reached RMB 11.752 million, reflecting a 79% year-on-year increase.

"The company operates an integrated system encompassing design, R&D, production, and sales." With guidance from the Customs, we leveraged the China-CEEC Customs Information Center platform to thoroughly analyze critical market intelligence—including legal frameworks, trade policies, and technical standards in CEE markets. This informed our decisions to invest in overseas ventures, engage foreign designers to develop products aligned with local regulations and consumer preferences, and prioritize independent brand development alongside IP protection. These efforts have fostered enduring partnerships with international clients."

Currently, Ningbo is leveraging the opportunity to establish the first China-CEEC Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, aiming to become the premier destination for CEEC goods imports. Ningbo Customs has effectively utilized its "Qinqing Zhitongche · Enterprise Needs Response" mechanism to support business growth. By establishing a closed-loop system for collecting, processing, and responding to enterprise demands, it addresses critical challenges faced by foreign trade companies. A senior customs official stated that efforts will continue to advance the China-CEEC Customs Information Center, enhancing its role as a bridge for international customs cooperation between China and CEECs, thereby facilitating smoother economic and trade exchanges with CEE partners.
