Leveraging a mature industrial chain, continuous technological innovation, and high-quality products, Cixi small appliances are expediting their international reach, with increasing shares in the Central and Eastern European market. From January to April this year, the export of home appliances from Cixi to Central and Eastern European countries reached 530 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50%.

Recently, on the production line of Cixi Huayu Electrical Appliance Group Co., Ltd., air fryers were assembled, tested, and packaged successively. Li Xi, the manager of the company's foreign trade department, stated: "After the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement comes into effect on July 1, 2024, tariffs on products, including air fryers, will gradually be reduced to zero, significantly enhancing customer collaboration intentions. From January to April this year, our company's exports to Serbia increased by 21.6% year-on-year".

In response to Central and Eastern European consumers' demand for quality and intelligence, Cixi enterprises have intensified their efforts in innovation and research and development. Huayu Electrical Appliance Group Co., Ltd. introduced products such as smart air fryers and multi-functional food processors that comply with European energy efficiency standards. Zhuoli Electric Appliance Group Co., Ltd., addressing the unique clothing preferences of European consumers, developed personalized ironing devices and garment steamers, establishing long-term collaborations with specific retail chains. "Environmental protection and technological intelligence are pivotal for accessing the Central and Eastern European markets. We have successfully built a strong product reputation through technological advancements," introduced Lin Fang, Business Director of the Foreign Trade Department at Zhuoli Electric Appliance Group Co., Ltd. "Our company's orders from Central and Eastern European countries, such as Serbia and Poland, have grown by over 40% year-on-year, boosting a procurement trend in neighboring countries", Lin Fang stated.

The targeted support by Cixi Customs, a branch of Ningbo Customs, has played a significant role in accelerating the global expansion of enterprises. Leveraging the "Cixi Assistance" service platform, Cixi Customs implemented a "zero leftover problem" mechanism, assigning dedicated personnel to offer on-site guidance on export procedures and essential certification elements. Simultaneously, a "Central and Eastern Europe Assistance Window" was established to deliver policy consultation, combined with a "smart review + self-service printing" system for certificates of origin, facilitating companies to leverage tariff advantages. Moreover, measures such as "advance declaration" and "direct loading upon port arrival" have significantly minimized logistics costs for enterprises. From July 2024 to April 2025, Cixi Customs issued Certificates of Origin under the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement for products valued at more than 63.05 million yuan.
